My Old Adventures

Animal Crossing: Wild World was one of my first games I got growing up. I played on my brothers old Nitentdo DS. It was love at first site. After getting my very own 3DS, I continued Wild World and eventually played City Folk on our home Wii. Since I missed out on New Leaf, I played New Horizons right on launch date (along with everyone else stuck inside for Covid). It was such a fun time that I had a commission made. I hope I can have as much fun again <3

First Week

Fruit: PearHello! If you are reading this I have moved to a beautiful island ~ I am so happy and excited to start this adventure. Blathers is supposed to be coming to the island soon, and there are already two other villagers.

Feb update

After this post I will try to do monthly updates
or updates whenever major things happen.I am loving my island life so far.Dōbutsu also has five villagers now. One of them being Marina, who was on my first New Horizons island. Pashmina is one of my favorite villagers (she always gives me meds when I have a wasp sting). Roald, Ozzie and Tammie are my other villagers. Slowly but surely building my island up! Austin also visits sometimes. We go fishing and explore the island.

MEGA MARCH UPDATE

So much has happened since the last entry update. Dōbutsu is finally a full and completed island!! We have 10 villagers, Able Sisters, upgraded Nooks Cranny, Isabell, Brewster, Kaptin, and all that. My island set up is coming along too. There's a large city center as you come out of the airport. One side of the island has a more suburban feel with a pier, neighborhood, garden, and mountain home. The other side is farm land with a campsite at the top.The villagers also have DRAMA. Pashmina who lives a house down from me started dating Kidd (who owns a cute lil farm), but started sneaking to see Lopez after hours. Lopez is the rich bachelor of the island, who started an orchard and lives just up the street from Kidd. Ankha (who owns a wheat field down the road) caught wind of this and started gossiping with Ione about it, and told his neighbor Carmen. She was totally in love with Lopez, so started dating Roald to make him jealous. Roald found out and is now MOVING off the island because of how heart broken he is... he was one of the few male villagers I had and my next door neighbor. Bye Roald :(

MINI MARCH UPDATE

Two March updates?! Yes, since so much happened it's only natural that there are two posts.... I'm also enjoying taking pictures so much. Austin definitely encourages it when he visits, since we like to play dress up so much. Something I forgot to mention in the last few posts is my island is getting closer and closer to being fully set up (and decorated). This is all thanks to treasure islands. It's basically a pay to play feature where you can either use free islands or subscribe ($4) to use private ones with more stuff. There's like everything you could imagine FOR FREE (in game) and you can get max bells. Some people may be like CHEATINGGG!! (It is) But in my opinion if you are hard working adult and have limited time to hop on the game... or just want to play for decoration then this is perfect! I use https://www.pange.ca Hope this helps :3Also island updates is Marshal moved into Roalds old plot and I've finished Harv's island. My next plan is to get Happy Home Paradise.

Cherry blossom Season

Hello! The island is coming along great. We are so close to finishing up decorating it completely!! Next steps will be updating everyone's home with the DLC. Austin and I have so much fun on the island that he is worried we won't do much once I finish the island decorating. But then where would we take all our cute pictures?! I wish cherry blossom season was longer and had more items, but here's a cute pic from our lil date. Can't wait for bunny day :3

APRIL UPDATE

My island is pretty much done! There might be a few small adjustments I make just for ease of walking around & access, but for the most part it is done!! I want to film a tour, but the villagers homes are just way too... you know... so I might get a job with Happy Home and see if I can redo the villagers homes. I also want Kidd to move out. He's FINE don't get me wrong, but I have 3 smug villagers and I just want a grumpy villager. I could always get Lobo to come live on my island (I know he's still on my old one waiting for me to come back), but part of me also wants to get a new grumpy villager. We will see!!!

Goodbye Ankha

A bitter sweet goodbye to Ankha. She loved her little trailer house with the wheat field. The city just kept expanding and she felt like it was just too crowded for her taste. Maybe I'll run into her again on another island... maybe she'll find her paradise there... ;)

May Update

Ahhh!! Hello May! New fish and bugs galore (I've already caught like 5 new ones). May brings the best weather... so many sunny days. Though I wish the Able sisters had more short sleeves. Everything in my closet is best for winter or camping or dresses. I need t-shirts!!! May started off with a free trip from Tom Nook (FREE? NOOK? Ha ha) But it was a trip from Dodo airlines to a mystery island. The maze was... hard. I had to restart a few times at my grown age and I almost gave up saying it was my last try... then I got it! It was Rover at the end of the maze. Meow!

Happy home paradise

I got a job! Well not really since the job pays in different currency from Bells (probably Tom nooks doing...). But it is literally a job made for me. Decorating and landscaping. My journal will now include a few entries from remolding houses. Could be anywhere from 3-10 entries a month. Look... I love my job and I get stuff DONE!

Eloise's Summer Home

Client #1Eloise is located on island plot D-5, that is secluded, but close enough to the main island for a quick bite to eat, or some shopping. The client requested a cozy get away with natural vibes and a place to read. Also plenty of sitting and outside space for guests to come over and relax during a breezy summer day.

Piper's Summer Home

Client #2Piper wanted a home away from home... but directly on the beach. Happy Home picked plot -# which is nestled behind some rocks. She was very specific about her style needing to convey trendy sophistication... while still feeling like a beach house. There was a strong focus on pink and blue, with pops of other colors like green and gold.

Beach Café

The Village opened up on the island serving coffee & cakes as well as some yummy fresh lunches with fruity drinks. It's become a popular place for beach goers on the main island. Its colorful atmosphere and groovy music is the perfect stop after surfing all morning

June update

Ever design so many houses that KK just shows up and drops the hardest tech show of the year?? No? Okay... Well I have been hard at work designing homes. Working so hard I forgot to stop and add more home entries to my journal. Maybe I'll make a video of all the vacation homes, and only highlight the best ones here. It's just so hard to show off the homes with just pictures. Need all the angles you know? There are still 1/4 of the plots left on the vacation islands, so I have time to do a few home entries until a video is made.
